TAMARA THALMANN

ARTIST – WRITER – ACTOR – MUSICIAN

 

Thalmann is a Swiss-Canadian artist, writer, actor and musician from the Beaches Toronto area. She relocated to Thessalon, Ontario, in 2016 and lived there until 2025. In 2025 she moved to Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, where she lives and operates her studio.

 

Thalmann studied acting in Toronto from instructors Alan Jordan, John Boylan and David Rotenberg which included scene study, improvisation, on-camera for film and television, and blocking/first rehearsal. She is a full ACTRA member and has been working on set since 1999. She is also a black belt in Karate and has appeared in television series for her special skills in marital arts.

Thalmann studied psychology and visual arts at York University in Toronto. She has a bachelor of arts with honours (B. A., Hons.) in psychology with magna cum laude from York University (Toronto), and a master of arts (M. A.) in clinical psychology from York University (Toronto).
